The first Diva Curry Festival took place at the beginning of June 2004.

After searching the UK to find the perfect band we were fortunate to come across a group of youngsters called 'Punjabi No 1'. The band performed for five nights at the festival and turned out to be the highlight of the week. The children were full of confidence and showed an immense amount of self-confidence performing a dazzling array of singing and dance routines which amazed and wowed the audience.

The event proved to be so popular that as soon as the festival was over we decided to make it an annual event with plans being drawn to organise the 2005 Curry Festival even before the sound of the music had faded. It is hoped that the 2005 event will be bigger and better with many more stalls and acts participating.
