After two years of dreaming about escaping to the sun Neelam and I sold our restaurant in Ayr, Scotland and moved to Playa Flamenca on Spain's Costa Blanca with our children - Sashkia and Rohan.

The BBC documentary 'Living the Dream' (aired Tuesday 4th March 2003 on BBC2) chronicled our move to Playa Flamenca where we now live and have our successful Indian restaurant.

The BBC crew followed our every move from inspection visits to finding a site and the setbacks with the building work. After a lot of hard work our dream finally became a reality when Diva Indian Restaurant finally opened in October 2002.

The opening was followed by numerous interviews with local and national press (including the Daily Record and The Scotsman) in the UK as well as excellent reviews from local restaurant critics.

We are now happily settled in Spain and, with the restaurant going from strength to strength, looking forward to a sunny future.
